George Robert Pell, age 68, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Pell was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, and worked as a Merchant Marine in the engine department.
He is survived by one son Paul (Nikki) Pell of Picayune; two daughters, Shawn (Cecil) Spurlock of Picayune, and Casey (Chris) Powe of Carriere; three brothers, William A. Pell, Kenneth Pell, and Michael Pell; four sisters, Joice Davis, Patsy Stonesciper, Connie Harrison, and Tina McGilvray; 8 grandchildren, Kayleigh Pell, Austin Pell, Katelyn Mitchell, Kyle Powe, Abram Powe, Cecil Spurlock, Amanda Feddeck, and Emily Spurlock; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George A. Pell and Martine E. Harvey Pell Minton; and one brother, Tommy "Joe" Pell.
