George Henry Roy, Sr., age 77, of Picayune passed away Monday, June 23, 2008at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, LA.
Memorial services will be held Friday, June 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 27th from 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
George, a former resident of Kenner, LA, has been a resident here for 34 years. He was a supervisor at Entergy, a U.S. Army Veteran and a Catholic.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Roy of Picayune; two sons, George H. Roy, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA and
Steven M. Roy of Lafayette, LA; daughter, Catherine Roy of Picayune; brother, Gerald James Roy of Slidell, LA; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Talbot of Anderson, CA.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Abraham Roy, Jr.
