Gerald Joseph Darby

Gerald Joseph Darby passed away on Saturday November 30, 2024.
He was born on September 25, 1937 to parents Henry and Velma Darby.
He was a proud Navy Veteran, and spent 25 years as a precision machinist for Boeing.
Gerald was married for 43 years to the love of his life Angeline Darby.

He is preceded in death by his parents Henry Darby, Velma Thibodeaux Darby, step daughter Virginia Kampsen, brothers Allen Darby (Patricia Minville Darby), Morris Darby, sisters Irene Darby Beaugh, and Edna Darby Holliman (Dane).

Gerald's memory will be cherished by his loving wife Angeline Darby, daughter Karen Philips (Russell), step daughter Sheila Meza (Darryl), step son Joseph Scallan (Tracy), brother in law Jean Beaugh, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation for Gerald will take place on Friday December 6, 2024 from 9AM-11:30AM at Picayune Funeral Home located at 815 S. Haugh Ave. Picayune, MS 39466.

Mass will take place for 12PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church located at 1000 Goodyear Blvd. Picayune, MS 39466.

Burial to Follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
