Glen Alton "Bird Dog" Spiers, age 56, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 438 Anchor Lake Rd., at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Edison Williams officiating. Burial will be at McNeill Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Spiers was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, and a Contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Spiers of Carriere; sons, Cody Spiers of Carriere, Jamie Kirkland of Carriere, and Joey Kirkland of Carriere; daughters, Nicole Guerrero of Virginia, and Shelly Brown of Hattiesburg; brothers, Troy Spiers of Purvis, and Preston Spiers of Picayune; sisters, Janet Richardson of Gonzales, Louisiana, and Wanda Head of McNeill; and seven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter Arnold Spiers and Mary Elmer Spiers.
