Helen Marie Closson of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at the age of 91.
Helen was born in Covington, Kentucky, formerly lived in Slidell, Louisiana and lived in Carriere for the past thirty-six years. She was an LPN at Picayune Convalescent Home for twenty-five years. She enjoyed traveling and eating out.
She is survived by seven children: Connie Brockman (Scott) of Erlanger, Kentucky, Tamara Meeks (David) of Carriere, Mississippi, Kenneth D. Closson of Slidell, Louisiana, Keith Closson (Judith) of Picayune, Mississippi, Cherri Fuerst (Frank) of Bush of Louisiana, Alana Templet (Alan) of Lacombe, Louisiana, and Kerry Closson (Pamela) of Picayune, Mississippi; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: her husband Kenneth W. Closson; daughter, Tina Marie Closson; son, Kevin P. Closson.
A graveside service will be held Saturday December 26, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. David Meeks of the World Outreach Church of Picayune, officiating.
