Herbert Paul Rivero, Sr., age 84, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until at 1312 Rock Ranch Rd., Carriere, MS 39426. Funeral service will be held at Holliman Cemetery at Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Rivero was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and a resident of Pearl River County for 57 years.
He is survived by his sons, Ray Dean (Sandra) Rivero of Millcreek; Herbert Paul (Gwenn) Rivero, Jr. of Marrero, Louisiana; Eric (Sharon) Rivero of Slidell, Louisiana; Alex "Rocky" Palmaceno of Carriere, Kirk Rivero of Carriere, and Mickey Desalvo of Carriere; daughters, Debbie Rivero of Marrero, Louisiana, Rita Cherimie of Carriere, Donna Rae (Wayne) Gates of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Linda Catherine Daroca of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Sheila Berdin of Lafette, Louisiana; sister, Emily "Leta" (Larry) Breaux of Luling, Louisiana; 20 grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Anna Rivero; wife, Linda Paulette Rivero; son, Jimmy Desalvo; and grandson, Jorey Rivero.
