Herberta Louise Randolph Holland, 97, a recent resident of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away Monday, 02 December 2013 at Millbrook Gardens Assisted Living Home.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 9, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Herberta was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on 21 October 1916 and had moved to Picayune about two years ago to be with her Son and his wife, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and an accomplished artist and teacher in ceramics and stained glass. She was a world traveler having been to Alaska, the Panama Canal, China, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and Mexico. She loved to dance and was a member of two dance clubs while in St. Louis. While in Picayune she was a member of Red Hats and made kitten blankets for the SPCA.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Herbert Randolph; her Mother, Marie Anderson Randolph; her Husband of 35 years, Clifford Barth Holland; and her Sister, Virginia Randolph Wise.
Survivors include: Her Son, Clifford R. Holland and his wife, Kathleen A. Holland; her daughter, Jann Marie Roth; two grandchildren, Randolph R. Holland and his wife Bonnie Holland, Michaela M. Elliott and her husband James Elliott, and four great-grandchildren: Erica C. Jackson and her husband Jonathon Jackson, Ben Holland, Ted Holland, and Garrett Fornea.
Herberta touched many lives during her 97 years and will be greatly missed.
