Herman R. Howard, age 73, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at Picayune Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Reeves officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Howard was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, lifetime resident of Pearl River County, and a Truck Driver.
He is survived by his son, Herman Dewayne Howard of Carriere; half-brother, Bob Mitchell, Steve Mitchell, Mack Mitchell, and Jimmy Mitchell; sister, Jackie Mitchell Albritton; grandchildren, Dereck Howard, Daphne Howard, and Johnathan Howard; and step-grandchildren, Hogan Goode, Nathan Goode, and Kevin Kelly.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Henry Howard; brothers, Horace Howard, and Butch Howard; and half-brother, Richard Mitchell.
