Howard L. Pearson

Graveside service for Howard Pearson, age 72, of Carriere who entered into God’s eternal home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23,2024 at Pearson Cemetery in Carriere.

Howard was a member of Union Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether fixing something or dreaming of restoring his 1955 Chevy Belair. He worked with his father and uncle in Picayune for 25 years, formerly OTASCO, and later Pearson’s Home and Auto. He worked with Pearl River County Road Department and served at Pearl River Baptist Association as Building and Grounds maintenance. He will be greatly missed.

Howard is proceeded in death by his parents, Carlie and Betty Pearson, brother Randy, paternal grandparents, Floyd, and Freda Pearson.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 45 years Debra Wood Pearson, sons Anthony (Nina) and Eric; 2 granddaughters, Cady and Juliet, and several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Reverend Bruce McKenzie will officiate the service.
