Inez Slade Woo, age 84, of Picayune passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Highland Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17th at l0:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Wayne Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 16th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.
Ms. Inez, a former resident of New Orleans, was a stewardess in the Merchant Marines and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, William Boyd Lumpkin, III of Bogalusa, LA; two brothers, C.W. Jarrell of Bogalusa, LA and Willie Ray Jarrell of Huntington, TX ; sister, Yvonne Creel of Bogalusa, LA and "Prince".
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Woo, and sisters, Grace Desantis, Ruth Mitchell and Virginia Mattock.
