Irwin Anthony Ruiz, age 82, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Ruiz was a resident of Carriere for seven years and was formerly from St. Bernard Parish. He was a Veteran of U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Sonja Ruiz of Carriere; daughters, Shelly Shumaker of Picayune and Wendy Schroader of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Lacey, Cody, Haley Dylan and Haydn; and three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Zachary and Casen.
Masses preferred.
