He is survived by his wife, Kathleen M. Wakefield of Picayune; step-son, Mel Beardsley and his wife Debbie of Waterford, Michigan; step-daughters, Tami Tindall and her husband Jay of Holly Michigan, and Teri Steward and her husband Dave of Clarkston, Michigan; grandchildren, Kristy Hartman, Amanda Baker, Brad Baker, Kyle Stewart, Austin Stewart, and Danny Stewart; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Freida Wakefield; and one brother, Jerry Wakefield.
