James R. Jiles, 73, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at his residence.
James was born January 9, 1950 in Monroe, Louisiana. He was a retired foreman with Avondale Shipyards and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lois Viola Jiles; three brothers, Daniel Jiles, Tommy, Jiles, and Ray Viola; and one sister, Anne Jiles.
Family members include one daughter, Rebecca Horvath; sisters, Frances Jiles Whitlock, Juanita Jiles Johns, Teria Jiles Pullig, Mary Primm; brothers, Will Jiles, Vernon Giles; grandchildren, Daniel Horvath, Robert E. Lee Horvath, Letisha Horvath, Christopher Horvath; and great grandchildren, Khloe Horvath, Alyica Horvath, and Abbie Horvath.
Private services are planned for a later date.
