James Robert Sterling

James Robert "Bob" Sterling, age 64, of Carriere passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 at his residence.
Visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., a Memorial Service will be held immediately following the visitation with Bro. Bob Osborn officiating.
James was a native of McComb, Mississippi and had resided in Carriere for the past seven years. He was a retired mechanic and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann "Michel" Sterling of Carriere ;one brother, Jerry Jude Sterling of Metairie, Louisiana ;two sisters, Vickey Aggers of Slidell, Louisiana and Martha Peralta of Avondale, Louisiana ;two step-children, Anna Marie Peterson of Picayune, Mississippi and Michael J. Bullock of Nicholson, Mississippi ;four grandchildren, Jodi Joe Sampey of Carriere ,Hanna Rea Bullock of Carriere , James Brueggert of Nicholson, Mississippi and Rodney Brueggert of Slidell, Louisiana.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Anese Sterling & Robert Sterling and a great-grandchild, Aiden Brueggert.
In lieu of flowers, family has set up an account at Hancock Bank to help with expenses.
Visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., a Memorial Service will be held immediately following the visitation with Bro. Bob Osborn officiating.
