James Wendell Stone, Sr., age 73, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at North Spoon Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Ray Bond officiating.
James was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of North Spoon Baptist Church.
James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Audrey Mae Burnette Stone of Carriere, Mississippi; sister, Betty Massey of Sanford, North Carolina and two grandchildren, Debbora Kay Loesch (Felix) of Germany and James Connor Stone of Florida, Curtis Burnette of Georgia, special family friends, David (Mary) Chidlow, Charissa Banks (Chuck), Brenda Broome (Richard), Jennifer & John Chidlow, Taylor, Jessica and Jamie Banks.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wendell Alvin Stone and Annie Loyce Pittman Stone; son, James Wendell Stone, Jr.; daughter, Debbora Kay Stone and sister, Peggy Walton.
