James Walters, age 33, of Picayune passed awayTuesday, September 15, 2009 at University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with Bro. Arthur Lee officiating.Visitation will be at Picayune Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 17th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.Burial will be at West Union Cemetery.
James worked in construction and was a member of Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cordia Walters of Picayune;one son, Kaleb Clae Walters of Lakewood, Colorado
;two daughters, Taylor Lee Walters and Jalyn Catherine Walters both of Picayune; father, James Walters of Biloxi; step-mother, Barbara Walters of Biloxi;mother, Lynn Currie of Poplarville;step-father, Roy Currie of Poplarville; grandmother, Clara Craft; three brothers, Joseph Cody Walters of Pataskala, Ohio,Patrick Joseph Essinger of Biloxi and Charles Currie of Tupelo; three sisters, Deanna (Brad) Strain of Poplarville,Rebecca Elizabeth Weyant of Azores and Lori Ann Sheaperd of Ocean Springs ;three nieces and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Matthew
