Janet Frances Byers was born to Donald and Charlotte Byers in San Antonio, Texas. On February 26, 1954, Janet married William Ralph Jackson, Jr. and was married for 63 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband "Billy"; one son, David Jackson; her parents, Don (Nora) Byers and Charlotte (Roy) Tilghman; and her sister Carol.
Janet is survived by two sons, Mike (Valori) and Kent (Kim); 3 grandchildren, Hannah Jackson, Scott (Brittany), and Mandi Jackson; 3 great-grandchildren, Everleigh Jackson, Arianna Montano, and Anzlee Jackson; nieces and nephews and countless "children of the Lord".
Janet and her husband Bill founded and pastored Church of The Way for 36 years in Picayune, Mississippi. Janet remained in Picayune, close to her sons and their families.
