Janie Linda Weaver Magee, age 75, of Picayune passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, in the comfort of her home.
Janie was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana January 24, 1948. She was a retired Corrections Officer for the Angola Prison after forty years. She loved her family and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Magee; parents, Joseph Franklin Weaver and Janie Pearl Jeffreys Weaver; one brother, Joseph Franklin Weaver, Jr.
She was survived by her three sons, Larry Kevin Brown and wife Kristie, Randall Keith Brown, and Robert Allen Brown; and eight grandchildren.
A service will be held by family at a later date.
