Joan Plentovich Bruder

Joan Plentovich Bruder, age 81, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Joan was a resident of St. Bernard Parish from 1952 - 2005 and an RN at Methodist Hospital.
She is survived by four sons, Al Bruder, Jr., George Bruder, Don Bruder and Karl Bruder; three daughters, Susan Bruder, Dr. Jan Bruder and Ann Browing; two brothers, Jack Plentovich and Robert Plentovich; five sisters, Elrose Couric, Sue Hollinger, Joy Coleman, Diane Plentovich and Jewel Thomas; five grandchildren, Adam and Lindsey Bruder, Erik, Leann and Blake Huso; and one great-grandchild, Nathaniel.
She is preceded in death by her parents Julius and Sophie Plentovich; and her husband Al Bruder, Sr.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or to Meals on Wheels, The Crosby Arboretum, or The Senior Center in Picayune.
