Johnnie Paul Mceachern

Johnnie Paul McEachern, age 89, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Friday, July 14, 2017.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Lee officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. McEachern was a retired Chief in the U.S. Navy, and also retired from BP Oil. He was a resident of Picayune for 26 years, and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Paul Michael McEachern (Tina) of Nashville, Georgia; five daughters, Jeanie Davis (Pat) of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Karen Rousselle (Danny) of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Karla Hess (Gary) of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Kathy Lee (Tim) of Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, and Kim Halford (Jim) of Madison, Mississippi; one sister, Bernice Shiflett of Adel, Georgia; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Shofner McEachern, Sr., and Johnnie Parker McEachern; wife, Billie June "Rusty" McEachern; one grandchild; three brothers, James Shofner McEachern, Jr., Tydal Wade McEachern, and Page Floyd McEachern.
