Johnny Bob Maxfield, age 62, of Slidell, LA passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Bob Heustess officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at Picayune Funeral Home on Friday, October 23rd from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Johnny, a native of Texas, worked in quality control and was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church of Slidell.
He is survived by his parents, Hershel Maxfield and Faye White Maxfield of Texas ;wife, Connie Lee Maxfield of Slidell, LA ;son, John Thomas Maxfield of Humble, TX ;two daughters, Julie Wheeler of Oklahoma and Rhonda Kellar of Picayune ;three brothers, Steve Maxfield of Alaska, Ricky Maxfield of Oklahoma and Roy Maxfield of Texas ;sister, Carolyn DePriest of Texas and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Maxfield.
