Johnathan Wayne Pell passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 13 at the age of 53. Born on June 8, 1971 in Picayune Ms. A graduate from Picayune Memorial High class of 89 where he met and married the love of his life Theresa Davis Pell.
Johnny worked in the oil field as a mud engineer for Baroid, Halliburton and New Park.
Johnny was always there to lend a helping hand. He couldn't say no when someone needed his help. He was either installing a stereo, building speaker boxes, helping his friends work on their vehicles or building a deck.
Johnny's favorite pastime was riding the 4 wheelers to the creek with family and friends, deer hunting with his boys, or just sitting outside by a fire throwing knives and popping whips (which he made himself) He loved his music, and he loved it loud.
Johnny enjoyed watching John Wayne and Bruce Lee movies. One of Bruce's famous quotes "Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one."
Johnny is preceded in death by his son, Gavin Wayne Pell, his sister, Kia Pell, his brother in law, Wesley Davis, his father in law, John Davis, his paternal grandparents, Martine Minton and George Pell, his uncles, Bobby Pell, Joe Pell, and Mike Pell. His maternal grandparents AJ and Nadine Foxworth, his stepdad Dorman Croney.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Theresa Davis Pell, his son, Johnathan "Logan" Pell, his mother in law, Sheila McCrory Davis, his father, Kenneth Wayne (Carla) Pell, his mother, Brenda (Al) Crawford, his sisters, Layla (David) Smith, Kacey Croney, his brothers, Benjamin (Sarah) Pell, Jacob Pell, his uncles, Mike Pell, James (Sylvia) Foxworth, and Aunts, Tina (Larry) McGilvary, Connie Harrison, Louise (Clayton) Lee, Carol Sue (Donnie) Odom, Sharon (Kevin) Odom, Nieces, Brittany Smith, Emma (Taylor) Parker, Bekah Smith, Amelia Smith.
Services will be held Saturday September 21*, at 4:30 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 20 Baucum Rd Carriere,
