Joseph Satch Frierson Jr.

Joseph "Satch" Alton Frierson Jr. passed away on August 13, 2024.
He was born in Picayune on April 9, 1942 to parents Joseph Frierson Sr. and Bonita Frierson. As a child he loved playing sports, and was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
Satch spent most of his life doing dirt construction with his brother Reed around Picayune, and he loved flying airplanes, and playing golf.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Alton Frierson Sr., mother Bonita Gertrude Frierson, and son James Watkins.
Satch is survived by his son Timothy Watkins, and his brother Reed Frierson.
A memorial in his honor is to be held at a later date.
