Joseph Smith Marrero of Perkinston, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the age of 51.
Joseph was born July 10, 1972, in Allentown, Pennsylvania where he resided most of his life. He was a former boy scout leader, volunteer fire fighter and an adventurist. After moving to Perkinston, Mississippi, he became a member of the Arts of Hancock County. He was a passionate artist and spent the last years creating. Beloved husband, and father, he will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded by his mother, Annette Smith, and sister, Jennifer Marrero.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kelley Marrero; father, Jose Marrero; sons, Ellis Kichline, and Kiernan Marrero; brothers, Rafael Marrero (Elizabeth), Jose Marrero (Tara), Peter Marrero, and Cordd Orange; sisters, Esterella Pichardo (Manuel), and Taina Marrero; former wife, Chantel Huegel.
Services will be held by family.
