Joseph Marcel Serpas

Joseph Marcel "Mike" Serpas, age 77, of Picayune passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Highland Community Hospital.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Greater Works Church, 13 Oak Allee Drive, Picayune.
Mike, a former resident of New Orleans, LA, was a well-known jazz musician playing the trumpet in New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, a U.S. Navy veteran and a Catholic.
He is survived byhis wife, Jackie Serpas of Picayune.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aloyious & Inez Serpas and a sister
