Joseph William Veron, Jr. of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the age of 70 in the comfort of his home.
Joseph was a longtime resident of Picayune for forty-four years and served in the US Army, 101st Airborn during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed fishing and loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Jura Dell Veron; two sons, Joseph William Veron, III (Kyla), and Brian Joseph Veron (Kristie); two stepsons, Troy Wilson (Shannon) and Eugene E. Wilson, Jr. (Tiffany); two daughters, Shannon Denise Katz (Harold) and Misty Dawn Lassetter (Robbie); stepdaughter, Gena Wilson (Jeanne); two brothers, Charles Eastman and Terry Veron (Rose); two sisters, Joann Thomas and Carol Alsobrooks (Darrel); twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph William Veron, Sr. and Margarite Zanco Veron.
A private service will be held by family at a later date.
