Josephine Florence Barnett

Josephine Florence Barnett, age 69, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Greater Life Apostolic Church from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Greater Life Apostolic Church with Rev. Ted Strain and Rev. Wesley Quave officiating. Burial will be at Burgetown Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barnett was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a homemaker and a member of Greater Life Apostolic Church.
She is survived by sons, Lionel (Lourie) Barnett of Picayune, Israel (Stefanie) Barnett of Carriere and Chris (Carrie) Barnett of Poplarvile; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Leola Barnett, Doris Nell McBeth, Yolanda Naranjo and Rosie Bond; brothers, Norman Briggs, Don Briggs and Billy Briggs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Bertha Briggs; husband, John Wesley Barnett; daughter, Amy Nicole Barnett; sisters, Arbordella Stockstill, Geniva Gillory; and brother Frank Peevey.
