Josephine Louise Dunn Ready, age 72, of Picayune passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Highland Community Hospital.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 10th from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., with Bro. Billy Galloway officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Josephine, a native of Chatom, Alabama, was a lifetime resident of Picayune. She was a member of Goodyear Baptist Church and retired as County Coordinator for SMPDD.
She is survived by one son, Billy (Shannon) Ready of Mobile, Alabama; four daughters, Marilyn (Leonard) Handley of Picayune, Shirley (Louie) Prendergast of Bay St. Louis,Lisa (Donnie) Counts of Carriere and Tinka (Harry) Lucas of Picayune ;one sister, Marie Norton of Mobile, Alabama ;twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Louise Ready; two sisters, Dora Lee Fontenot and Thelma James; one grandson, Louis Prendergast III.
