On May 23, 2024 at 1835, Juan Carlos Varea departed on his final flight home.
In true Juan form, he made sure to get there too early, because “on time is late”.
He will be truly missed by his wife, daughter, grandbabies, son in law, and countless others that he always showed up for without question.
His absence will be felt for the rest of the lives of all who knew him, and just like with all great men, they won’t truly know just how much until they realize he isn’t there when they need him.
Not many people on this planet love through action, but he nailed it. He put himself fully into everything in his life that mattered to him.
The world will never be the same, not only because he is gone now, but mostly because he lived.
May you all embrace the lessons he taught you simply by being him.
Show up early, love through action, drop everything for your loved ones when they need you, never leave something unsaid or unfinished, follow your passion, fall in love, and so much more.
Today, he is greeted by his son, his parents, and many more in heaven. May he grease the landing and not forget to flare.
