Karen Lynne Smith of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the age of 71.
Karen was a resident of Picayune for the past twelve years. She was an active member of Citizens on Patrol and Captain of Bean Bag Baseball with Peal River Senior Center. She was a professional pie and cake maker and liked fast cars.
She is survived by her companion of twenty plus years, William "Bill" Albert Roth; son James R. Smith (Brandy); seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She is proceeded by her parents, Donald and Doris Wampole; brothers, Gary, Terry, Darrell, and Dale Wampole; and one grandson.
Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Wednesday May 25, 2022, at Picayune Funeral Home. Service to begin at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jacob Gill
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
