Katherine Dufrene, age 64, of Carriere passed away Monday, July 7, 2008 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, July 11th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.
Katherine, a former resident of Pearl, MS, was retired from the Dept. of Human Services of the State of Mississippi and was a Catholic.
She is survived by her mother, Claudie LaBauve of Carriere; brother, Paul Dufrene of Carriere; sister, Susan Templet of Gretna, LA and life-long friend, Verna Lee of Florence, MS.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Baton Rouge LA Office, 2644 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., Suite 122, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
