Katie Lynne Cash of Picayune, Mississippi, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the age of 33.
Katie was a resident of Carriere, Mississippi since 2003. She was extremely excited and proud about graduating from the Police Academy on July 16, 2021, where she would have pursued her career with the Waveland Police Department. Katie was full of life. She enjoyed music, singing, and dancing. Katie loved spending time with her children and family. She will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her parents, Mark Cash and Karie Warden; grandmother, Lorraine Bond; daughters, Josie Smith and Carley Smith; sister, Stevie Ann Cash (Cody Powe); brothers, Chris Waggoner (Destiny), David Warden (Lillie), and Derrick Warden (Santana).
She is preceded in death by her stepfather, David D. Warden; great-grandmother, Lorraine Wolentarski; and stepsister, Cynnamon Warden.
Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Saturday July 24, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Picayune. Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Bro. Seth Stanley, with burial following to Waveland Cemetery.
