He is survived by one brother, William H. Lawton, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Picayune; nieces, Lisa Lyons, Leslie Engles, and Lynda Kauzlarich.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Lawton, Sr., and Ethel Lawton.
