On Friday, June 17, 2022, Dr. Kim Antoinette Mitchell-Silver, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away peacefully in her home, at the age of 57.

Dr. Kim Mitchell-Silver was born on October 26, 1964, in Picayune, MS. After graduating from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2005 with honors and moving to Arkansas to complete several years of post-graduate residency, she returned home to Picayune to serve as a Family Practitioner within her community.

Dr. Silver loved spending time with her family, especially her son. He was her pride and joy. She enjoyed swimming, reading, traveling and was also an avid music lover. She loved singing, attending concerts and shows. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile and the compassion she had for others.

Dr. Silver was preceded in death by her father, Reuben W. Mitchell. She is survived by her mother, Anne Hepler Mitchell (Joe); son, Jeffrey P. Silver, Jr.; father of her son, Jeffrey P. Silver, Sr.; sisters, April Dianna Fowler (Barry) and Letia Ann Harvey (Bruce); nieces and nephews, Laresha Ann Bray (Clay), Luann Marie Moak, Weston Lee Mitchell (Belle), Bryant Bray, Ben Fowler, Aubrie Shianne, and Brayden Louis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Everyone is invited to attend a public memorial service that will be held by family at Christian Life Assembly of God, located behind Claiborne Hill at 1015 Hwy. 43 Picayune, MS 39466 on July 10, 2022, at 4:00pm.
