Kirt Matthew Lawrence, age 49, of Carrierepassed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 in Picayune.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery.
Kirt, a native of New York, New York, was a truck driver and a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.
He is survived by:his mother, Althea Lawrence of Texas ;his father, Merton Lawrence of Picayune; wife, Andrea Lawrence of Carriere; two sons, Miguel Zavala of Hawaii and Santos Chavez of Carriere; two daughters, Lusila Guzman of Chicago, Illinois and Veronica Murillo of Carriere; three brothers, John Lawrence of Texas, Stanley Lawrence of Picayune and Michael Ratcliffe of Picayune; seven sisters, Marilyn Adams, JoAnn Brumley, Peggy Lee, Cindy Wadel, Lynn Lawrence, Carol Gonzales and Joyce Peshek; seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by His son, David Morales; his brother, Norman Ratcliffe and his step-mother, Florence Lawrence
