Lawrence Henry White

Lawrence Henry White, Sr.., age 91, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014.
Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. A private family burial will be at The Veteran Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana at a later time.
Mr. White was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps where he served in WWII, and Korea with the 465th Heavy Bombardment Group. He was a resident of Picayune for 17 years, and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Marguerite White of Picayune; one son, Lawrence H. White, Jr. and his wife Kimberleigh of Carriere; one daughter, Charmaine Points and her husband Dennis of Poplarville; two brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren, Lawrence "Larry" Henry White, III, and Robert "Bobby" Joseph White.
He is preceded in death by his parents John E. and Mamie White.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Mr. White's name to The Wounded Warrior Project.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hill, Dr. Dafftery, ICU, and 2nd floor nurses at Ochsner Northshore for all of your support and compassion.
