Leonard William "Bill" VanArsdale, Jr., passed away unexpectedly at home on May 17, 2021. He was 73.
He was pre-deceased by his wife of 34 years, Janet VanArsdale; his parents, Leonard William VanArsdale, Sr. and Alice Helen Bishop; and many siblings.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Vicki VanArsdale, of Gaithersburg, MD, his son David VanArsdale of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, and sisters Imogene Brown of New Providence, PA, and Laura King of Weatherford, TX. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Beverly Puorro of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, Cheryl VanArsdale of Toms River, NJ, brother-in-law Abraham Mills of Kiln, MS, and many beloved nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Bill loved nature, fishing, gardening, and watching NASCAR races. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures like watching birds, spoiling his cat Furby, and spending time with family and friends. He was outgoing, funny, and kind, and he will truly be missed.
