Leonia Jean Lee, 84, of Picayune, MS, died on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Lee was born December 20, 1938 in Fenton, Mississippi. She was a retired beautician and a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln; above all, a Crusader for Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Agnel Moran and Aline Garriga Moran; her husband of 60 years Clarence “Poppa” Lee; three sisters, Madeline Moran, Cheryl Thomas, and Lynnette Necaise.
Family members include seven children, Clarence Steven (Darlene) Lee, Vernon Keith (Terrie) Lee, David Lane (Renee) Lee; Mary Phyllis Spiers, Gerry Maria (Gerald) Cruthird, Kellie Teresa (Scott) Compton, Tangela Sue (Steve) Jackson; one brother, Agnel (Brenda) Moran, II, sisters, Christine (Lester) Curvin, Tanis Moran, Jerine (Granvel) Ladner, Cleopatra Moran, Naomi Moran; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty two great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church (5370 Kiln-Delisle Road, Kiln, MS, 39556) on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the service, Monday at the church. Burial will follow in Rotten Bayou - St. Joseph Cemetery.
