Leroy Joseph Guidry Sr.

Leroy Joseph Guidry, age 85, of Perkinston, Mississippi passed away Thursday March 24, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Guidry was original from New Orleans, Louisiana.


Services will be held on April 16, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 3924 Berkley Street, Slidell, Louisiana. Visitation is from 9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. with a mass following at 10:30a.m. Burial will be at St.Vincent de Paul Cemetery following the mass.

He is survived by two sons, Leroy Joseph Guidry Jr. (Marsha), of Slidell, Louisiana and Norman Anthony Guidry (Sue) of Lumberton, Mississippi, one daughter Kellie Guidry Ferand (Kenny) of Perkinston, Mississippi; one sister Betty Guidry of Carriere, Mississippi. Five grandchildren; Rusty, and Robin Guidry, Nicole, Amanda, and Zak Ferand and five Great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Marie Unbehagen of Picayune, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman Joseph Guidry and Grace Constant Guidry, his wife Virginia Gobuzzi Guidry, two sisters; Doris Guidry Springer and Gloria Guidry Fontenot, one brother Clarence Guidry.
