Leslie Ann LaCombe of McNeill, Mississippi passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the age of 79.
Leslie was born in Ford City, Pennsylvania and was a resident of McNeill for the past eight years. She was a member of Oak Hill Church in Poplarville, Mississippi. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 45 years and worked part-time at Lake Jackson Library for 25 years. She loved her animals and making blankets for the Wounded Warrior Project, church members and several community members.
She is survived by her sons, Brian 'Nick' Baker (Buffy) of McNeill, Mississippi, and Jeff Baker of Lake Jackson, Texas and her daughter, Jamie Austin of Conroe, Texas; her brothers, Paul Cieply of Columbus, Ohio and Scott Cieplyof Ford City, Pennsylvania; her sister, Patty Vilello of Syracuse, New York; 7 grandchildren, Niki, Shaun, Billy, Dylan, Cameron, Christopher & Katherine Ann; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Cieply and Doris Shaffer; two granddaughters, Briana and Paula; and one great-granddaughter, Indy.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution in Leslie's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or an animal charity of your choosing.
