Lester Villneurve, Jr. of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 85.
Mr. Villneurve was a resident of Picayune for over 36 years, a retired New Orleans Police Office and of the Catholic faith. He was a loved dad, husband, grandfather, friend and sibling. He impacted so many lives and will be greatly missed. Life wouldn't have been the same without our beloved, Lester "Butch" Villneurve, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Vernia Smith Villneurve of Picayune, Mississippi; sons, Patrick Villeurve (Sandra) of Lacombe, Louisiana and Brian Villneurve of Kenner, Louisiana; daughters, Adaline Dooney Rutherford (Gary) of Covington, Louisiana, Tammy Leon (Aldo) of Kenner, Louisiana and Casey Diez of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; brother, Dennis Villneurve of Slidell, Louisiana; sisters, Rita Cooper and Nita Hash of Pearl River, Louisiana; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Villneurve, Sr. and Louise Desmmore Villneurve and brothers, Edward Villneurve and Carl Villneurve.
