Lillie Jo Sanford age 68 of Carriere, MS passed away on July 17, 2023 at her sister’s home in Aransas Pass, Texas.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Glen Sanford, her parents Charles and Thelma Pardo and two sisters Faye Pardo and Patricia Coleman and several members of the Sanford family.
She was born on 08/27/1954 in New Orleans but lived most of her life in Nicholson, Picayune and Carriere, MS.
She is survived by sister Charlene Cooper and husband Auburn Cooper, sister Kathleen Lossett and
husband David Lossett, numerous members of the Sanford family, and numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends. Suffering from a form of aggressive cancer, she went to Texas to spend time with her Texas family before she passed away.
Lillie worked with the public for years and had many friends in her community, she was kind and loved by many. Lillie never had children but was loved and affectionately called Aunt Lillie by many. Lillie wanted everyone to know how much she cherished her family and friends but did not want a memorial service. Remember Lillie for the good times shared together and when you see a rainbow or a beautiful sunset – remember her.
