Linda Kay Gill passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, devotion, and love. Born on February 20, 1945, in Picayune, MS, Linda was a longtime resident of Poplarville, MS 39470.
Throughout her life, Linda found joy in playing softball and golf, embodying a spirit of fierce determination and sportsmanship. However, her true passion lay in caregiving, a role in which she excelled and found immense fulfillment. Linda's nurturing nature and unwavering dedication to supporting others left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
A devoted Christian, Linda's faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and shaping her relationships. Her light shone brightly within her community, and her legacy of kindness and empathy will endure for years to come.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland McQueen, Marie McQueen; brother, Ronnie McQueen; and sister, Donna Marie Seal, and Sandy McClendon.
Linda is survived by her beloved son Wayde Gill, daughter-in-law Amy Gill, and son Cory Gill, daughter-in-law Andrea Gill; grandchildren, Dustin, Taylor, Kaylee, Alex, Makenzie, and Myra; great grandchild, Lennox; numerous special nieces, nephews, and friends. Their hearts are filled with cherished memories of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.
Funeral services and ceremonies to honor Linda's life and legacy will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 5th, 2024,with Visitation previously starting 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home .
