Lois Ann Jacobsen, age 77, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at her residence.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at World Outreach Revival Center, 900 Cayten Street, Picayune, Mississippi with Bro. David Meeks officiating.
Lois was a nurse and a member of World Outreach Revival Center. She loved to listen to Christian music and played the guitar. She liked to sew, cook and work in her flower beds. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Louis Jacobsen of Picayune, two sons: Louis Jacobsen of Chalmette, Louisiana and Larry Jacobsen of Chalmette, Louisiana.. Two daughters: Lisa Catalanotto of Picayune, Laura Jacobsen of Henleyfield and one sister, Gail Landry of Huntsville, Alabama. One brother, Hansen Peterson of Chalmette, Louisiana.Twelve Grandchildren: Dustin Schaefer, Louis Jacobsen, Jr, Cassi Catalanotto, Kristie Jacobsen, Gino Catalanotto, Chad Jacobsen, Angelle Jacobsen, Daniel Wilkerson, Amber Jacobsen, Kerri Jacobsen, and Christopher and Christian Nixon. Seven Great-grandchildren: Caleigh Myers, Gavin Myers, Ciara Spencer, Landon Jacobsen, Angelle Catalanotto, Alecia Catalanotto, and Kamri Schaefer. One great-great-grandchild, Brianna Rain Jacobsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mead Peterson; and her brother, Pete Peterson, Jr.
