Louis P. Pechon Jr.

LOUIS P PECHON, JR., age 83, joined the angels in heaven on June 18, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his Father Louis P Pechon, Sr and his Mother Josephine Anna Fonte Pechon. He is survived by his loving, dedicated wife Lillian {Paulette} Campo Pechon of 32 years and "Daddy" to Shelly Pechon Taylor, Sonda Pechon Brewster, Louis P Pechon, III {Tre} and a bonus Dad to Chris and Alfred Pizzuto, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a tremendous host of treasured friends.

Louie was a Veteran of the United States Navy where he proudly served his country, a retired New Orleans Fireman serving the city for 33 years in many capacities with his final assignment as Captain of the Crash Crew at Louis Armstrong Airport, and an accomplished carpenter.
He loved life and lived it to the fullest enjoying music, dancing, cooking, entertaining, and daily conversations with friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Picayune, Ms. at the time of his death.

Arrangements were provided by Picayune Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service that will be held at the Veterans Cemetery located at 34888 Grantham College Dr. Slidell, La 70460 on July 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Please arrive by 9:45 a.m.
