Lula Jeanette Godwin, age 85, entered into Heaven on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Community Care Plus Personal Care Home in Picayune, Mississippi.
She was the beloved wife of the late William Guy Godwin. Born in Alabama and resided in New Orleans for fifty-seven years. Sister of Libby Broach and Robert Thornton. Devoted Mother of Juanita Barrios (Roy),
Judy Rome (Lenny) and Linda Simpson (Larry). Proud Grandmother of Lisa Babin, Cherie Ruiz,
Shannon Cox, Brian Rome and Stacie Schudmak.
Great-Grandmother of Regan, Bryson, Alexis,
Andrew, Hayley, Janna, Hannah and Abigail.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the
Visitation at Picayune Funeral Home on
Thursday, April 29th from 10:30-11:30 a.m.,
followed immediately by the Funeral Service at
11:30 a.m. in Picayune Funeral Home Chapel,
with Bro. Jim Prater officiating.
Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens
Cemetery and Mausoleum.
