Mack Joseph Bordelon (77) of Picayune went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday June 11, 2024.
Mack was born in New Orleans to parents Cilton Bordelon and Louise Roy Bordelon, and graduated from Warren Easton High School in 1964. He worked many years as a Maintenance Carpenter for Ochsner Baptist in New Orleans.
He enjoyed spending his time woodworking, playing guitar, singing with his daughter Tiffany, hunting, and fishing with his son Michael. If he could he’d tell you about the time the catfish took his rod away and he jumped into the water to take it back.
Mack was happily married to the love of his life Antoinette Morales Bordelon for 56 years, and was a devoted husband, proud father, and a loving grandfather, uncle, and friend.
Mack is preceded in death by his father Cilton Bordelon, mother Louise Roy Bordelon, and sisters Maxine Ponseti and Betty Prentice (Bob), father-in-law Vincent Morales, and mother-in-law Antoinette Greco Morales .
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Antoinette Morales Bordelon, son Michael Bordelon, daughter Tiffany Bordelon Castaing, sister Earline Picolo (Jay), grandchildren Kaycee Hutchison (Cody), Cheyanne Bordelon, Cameron Bordelon, great-grandchildren Harper Hutchison, Lane Michael Hutchison, Ember Hutchison, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial in his honor will be held at Picayune Funeral Home on Friday June 14, 2024 at 3PM. Visitation begins at 2PM.
