On November 10th, 2022, Mark Barbe entered the lord's embrace into his eternal resting place. He passed away comfortably in his home in the presence of his loving wife Cynthia Barbe. He is proceeded in death by his parents Patricia Cochran Barbe, Frank Barbe and Sister Linda Loverde. He is Survived by his Wife Cynthia Barbe, Son Duanne Moss, Brother Jim Barbe, Fur Babies, several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members, and friends.

Mark was born on September 8th, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Anyone who knew him knew he was a kind and humorous man. He was a family man. There was no-one he loved more than his wife of 40 years and Son, Duanne. His dedication and love for his family was admired by all. He also was loving dog dad to many pets throughout the years. He was the light in the room. There was no one he couldn't make laugh. His humor was unique and unmatched. He was adventurous and enjoyed several great trips and vacations with loved ones. He was loved by all but especially the kids in his life. He was a proud Uncle Mark to many.

Mark was best known by friends for his passion and skills on the boat. He was a talented and skilled fisherman. He ran a successful boat yard since the age of fifteen years old. He was best at soft shell crabbing and shrimping. Anyone who has eaten seafood in Louisiana has likely eaten some of his catches. He loved living on the water and being on a boat. He also enjoyed some time hunting.

Later in life Mark had explored new talents. He grew an exceptional garden that produced peppers, tomatoes, sunflowers, and more. He also had a creative side. He was crafty with woodworking and household projects. He also loved drawing and painting especially when he could gift his art to friends and family. He will be missed by all but will remain in our hearts and watch over us as our guardian angel.
