Mary Arlean Brasher, age 73,passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 Pearl River County Hospital in Poplarville, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 25th at 2:00 p.m.at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gerald S. Kirby officiating.Burial will be at Sycamore Cemetery.Visitation will Monday, May 25th from 1:00-2:00 p.m.at Picayune Funeral Home.
Mary was native of Picayune, a member of Goodyear Baptist Church, and worked for several years at Commercial Printing in Picayune. After the death of her husband Mary was a strong and loving mother, sometimes working three jobs to support her three daughters.
She is survived by:her three daughters: Brenda Waggoner of Carriere, Della Jenkins of Picayune, and
Martha Kirby of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Delos L. Dillard of Pearl River, Louisiana, Alvin R. Dillard of Picayune; one sister, Vonnie Marie Smith of Picayune;six grandchildren, Paula, Brandi, Jamie, Colt, Brooke, and Alexander four great-grandchildren, Brittin, Madalien, Abigail, and Ethan.
She is preceded in death by: Her husband, James Oliver Brasher;Her parents, Arlie Dillard and Mary Mitchell Dillard; two sisters, Dorothy Jopes and Odell Mitchell.
