Mary Anne Dalton

November 22, 1943 — March 26, 2021

Mary Anne Watts Dalton departed this world for her heavenly home on Friday, March 26, 2021, at the age of 77 surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Born November 22, 1943 in Picayune, MS. and raised on a small tract of land at the end of Watts Road where Boley and Mill Creek come together, she built her home, raised her four children, loved her husband Gene and departed this world on that same piece of land that was always home.

Mary Anne always had a houseful while her children were growing up and the home was a favorite hangout for a multitude of teenagers whom she loved like her own. After she retired from Stennis Space Center, she enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her husband, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her precious dog Bubbles.
Her marriage to Gene was a testament that "Until death do us part" is a real-life promise. They were together through sickness and health and they lived out their vows throughout the range of their entire marriage. Never forgetting to remind each other how much they loved one another even to the end as Gene sat vigil around the clock by her bedside.

Mary Anne was preceded in death by her parents William Walter Watts and Mary Eria Murray Watts, sister Billie Faye Watts Miller, brothers Tommy Watts and Bobby Watts, and grandsons, Kendall Galmiche, Owen Galmiche and Dalton O'Meara.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Gene Dalton and her children, Trey (Stephanie) Galmiche, Darin Galmiche, Charisse O'Meara and Candace (Bodie) Galmiche Valdez, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a future date and would like to thank everyone for their kind words and abundant love shown during this time.
